- Soak up some sun on Agathi Beach. An idyllic beach on the East side of the island, with easy access from Lardos & Lindos. Perfect for children & with cheap refreshments, parking, toilets, sun bed hire and plenty of space to walk & play. Sandy and shallow, the beach is the perfect rest stop while exploring the island, or for a day spent luxuriating in the perfect Mediterranean sunshine. - Discover the Archaeological Museum of Rhodes. The ancient museum is set inside the Ippoton- the ancient medieval city. - Take a walk on Elli Beach. Set in the more urban setting of the city of Rhodes, Elli beach nonetheless provides a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of shopping or exploring. With an abundance of restaurants, tavernas, bars and cafés nearby it makes the perfect after dinner walk- and a chance to watch the sun set over the Mediterranean. Easily accessible from any of the city hotels and while popular, the abundance of beautiful beaches means it’s rarely crowded. The pebble beach is less popular with sunbathers- many of whom choose to go to the more picturesque sandy beaches further East and South- but there’s plenty of services for thrill seekers- jet skiing and water paragliding are available, and there’s a diving platform for those wishing to start their seaside holiday with a splash!
